The ‘Making Votes-at-16 Work in Wales’ project team has recently published an article in Teaching Citizenship, which is published by the Association of Citizenship Teaching. The article discusses the opportunities that implementing ‘Votes-at-16’ has for improving the provision of citizenship education and the lessons that can be learned from its introduction in Scotland and Wales.  The article argues that implementing Votes-at-16 without investing in political education represents a missed opportunity.
