On 4th October 2019 Dr Tom Loughran presented our research comparing the voting age debate in 1969 with the present day at the Young People’s Politics Specialist Group workshop at the University of Sheffield.
The workshop was an intensive all-day event in which scholars presented work in progress for detailed discussion and feedback from other attendees.
This was an excellent event in which we received detailed feedback from experts in researching young people’s politics which will inform our research on the project going forward. We’d like to thank the Young People’s Politics Specialist Group for organising this event and all attendees for their constructive and helpful comments.
